JET STREAM
First published in February 2019
It's not something
I know much about -
just a blue swirl
on the TV weather map.
But a professor
of physics tells us
that melting ice at
the Poles is significant
coercing the jet stream
to work its magic
on UK weather patterns,
unseasonal sun, warmth.
A Red Admiral basks
in sunshine, flutters
over Februry snowdrops,
a sign of the times?
